Digital technology plays a key role in highlighting the different plastic art dimensions.

hence this study aims at identifying the way artists deploy technology by clarifying the correlation between contemporary plastic art and digital technology.

another important matter that the present study attempts to examine is to elucidate how digital technology has impacted various aspects of Algerian plastic art as well as providing the most important materials being used.

therefore, the conclusions of the present study are based on that digital technology has an impact on contemporary plastic art, such as forming artwork in a more faster and accurate way.

as a result of art’s melting with digital technology in virtual world and going through several stages, Algerian plastic art has been widely affected whereby new techniques and tools aspects have been integrated.

this led to the emergence of new different materials.
