Abstract EN

The purpose of present study is to investigate the correlation between quality of life and Metacognition thinking skills among university female students, and the extent to which there are differences in quality of life and metacognitive thinking skills due to the difference in specialization (science-humanity), academic level (second and fourth), and academic average.

It also aims to predict the quality of life through metacognitive thinking skills among university students.

The sample of the study consisted of (443) university students from king Saudi university in Riyadh, including (242) students from science colleges, while (201) represent the humanity colleges.

The results found that there were significant differences in quality of time and management for Humanity Colleges, there were significant differences in quality of time and management for the fourth level.

In addition, there were significant impact of academic performance on quality of life and Metacognition thinking skills for excellent students.

The result also showed that there were significant correlation between quality of life and Metacognition thinking skills, and when regression analysis was used, (11%) of quality of life due to differences among students on Metacognition thinking skills.
