Abstract EN

This Study aims to provide full literary explanation of Bant Souad’s poem, and analyzes it in an artistic way that includes var- ious linguistic and intellectual aspects, as well as technical charac- teristics, with an indication of its impact on the Arabic language.

This study followed the technical approach adopted in analyzing the texts, including a mention of the reasons for the poem, a defi- nition of its author, a linguistic explanation of its vocabulary, and an intellective and artistic analysis of its verses and sections.

The Study reached a number of results, the moSt important of which are: That the pre-lslamic character and the spirit of tradition dom- inate the poem despite its recitation after the conqueSt of Mecca in the presence of the Prophet, and in his mosque; and that the poet’s religious emotion in this poem was not required.

The Study showed the poet’s care for coordination, unity of the poem and its intellectual hierarchy.

It also showed his artistic ability to use the rhetoric aspects in his poetry to great use.
