Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the reality of the use of technologies in university teaching in colleges of education in the light of some variables.

The study followed the descriptive analytical method.

The Study population consisted of faculty members at the two universities of Gezira (Al-Hasahisa and Hantoub) and the Sudan University of Science and Technology, College of Education, whose number is (305) professors.

The Study sample consisted of seventy-six (76) faculty members.

A questionnaire was used to collect data.

The data was analyzed and processed using the statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS).

The Study reached several results, the most important of which are: faculty members often use technologies and communication in university teaching; Materials, devices, and educational technologies in university teaching are not available at a degree; there are significant obstacles to the use of technologies in university teaching.

There are no statistically significant differences in the two axes (availability and use of obstacles), while there are statistically significant differences (use - application - availability of materials - and reality); There are no statistically significant differences in the (obstacles) axis, while there are statistically significant differences in the axes (use - provision of materials- application - availability and use, obstacles and reality).

The Study recommends the necessity of using the correct educational methods in school and at home to enhance the Student's self-confidence, conducting more Studies on educational technologies in university teaching providing faculty members with the necessary educational techniques related to his field of specialization, and establishing cooperative relations between colleges to exchange experiences among them.
