Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the relationship between violence and parental Methods of treatment among basic school pupils.

The researchers used, the descriptive correlation approach, the study sample consists of (250) pupils, (125) male and (125) female they were chosen accidentally, the study tools were represented in the scale of violence and the scale of parental treatment.

The researchers used the statistical packages for social sciences program to analyze the data.

Finally, the study reached the following results: The general trait of violence among basic school pupils in Khartoum state is high.

The general trait of parental treatment among basic school pupils is positive.

There is significance co- relationship between violence and parental treatment methods among basic school pupils in Khartoum state.

In conclusion the researchers made procedural recommendations, the most important of which are good consideration for basic school pupils their awareness about the dangers of violence, and there must be a psychological and counseling units in school s to help the pupils and reduce their psychological stress also the researchers presents suggestions for further studies.
