Abstract EN

The Aim of this Research is to Identify the Degree of History Teachers' Skills of Historical Maps in the Schools of the Directorate of Education for the Northern Al- Mazar District - Jordan.

To Achieve the Research Goal, the Researcher Prepared a Note Card that Included (20) Classroom Procedures by the Teacher in order to Develop Historical Mapping Skills.

The Authenticity of the Observation Card has been Verified and Proven, and this Card has been Applied to a Sample of(54) History Teachers from the Directorate of Education for the Northern Al-Mazar District, Through the use of the Direct Observation Method.

The Results of the Research Showed that the History Teachers' Practice of Medium Mapping Skills is used to a Moderate Degree.

Also, it was found that there were no Statistically Significant Differences Attributable to the Variable of Gender, Experience and Educational Qualification Around the Degree of Practice.

The Researcher Concluded with Several Proposals, the most Important of which are: Holding Training Courses for History Teachers in which the Focus is on the Applied Side in Addition to the Theoretical Side to Provide Teachers with the Skills Through which to Develop the skill of Historical Maps
