Abstract EN

The paper aimed to study the impact of foreign direct investment on economic growth in Sudan in Sudan (1991-2019) The importance and problem of the study is to enrich the research aspect in the field of the Sudanese economy on the impact of foreign direct investment on economic growth.

Hypotheses were developed: It is the existence of a statistically significant relationship between economic growth and foreign direct investment flows.

The study used the descriptive and deductive approach, the historical approach and the standard quantitative approach, using one of the ready-made SPSS analysis programs using the two-stage least squares method for instantaneous equations.

The results of the analysis are the acceptance of the hypotheses.

It concluded that foreign direct investment in Sudan has a positive and significant relationship with economic growth.

The study reached several results, including: Foreign direct investment contributes to providing job opportunities, which reduces unemployment and increases exports, and thus contributes to economic growth.
