Abstract EN

Allah’s willpower and judgment forbid the man to marry a certain type of woman because this marrying one of them implicates evils that go beyond the benefits of marriage.

Thus, God has legislated marriage for the sons of Adam, but he has forbidden intermarriage between certain types, because of what he knew of the evils resulting from it.

In this study, the researcher dealt with one of the forbidden types of marriage – it is the kinship due to breastfeeding (sisters from suckling).

The study aimed to establish the jurisprudential rooting of the prevention of marriage due to breastfeeding kinship.

The data was collected from main juristic resources.

The study followed the inductive and analytical comparative methods.

The study displayed several results, the most important of which are: That the child inherits the behavioral inherited nature of the breastfeeding woman, just as her real child inherits.

The Holy Qur’an preceded modern medicine pointing to the importance of natural breastfeeding during the first two-year period; doctors emphasized that all types of food alone cannot be sufficient for the child during the two years of infancy, because the mother’s milk contains antibacterial immune substances.
