Abstract EN

The study included clarification of the concept of endowment and presented briefly the importance of studying the endowment and its growing role in human societies, it is one of the pillars of solidarity and cooperation in society, it also represents a strong bond for governments and countries if it is used properly.

The study discussed the role of the endowment in achieving the purposes of Sharia, and the impact of alms and expenditures on preserving religion, self, mind, offspring and money.

The importance of this study comes from the importance of the endowment and its role in supporting the Islamic community, its renaissance and its centuries-old civilization.

The study aims to show the importance of endowments and the need to direct endowment institutions to support individuals and communities by strengthening the basic purposes of life.

The study followed the historical analytical and inductive approach that is based on observation and induction of social phenomena and historical events, and concluded that activating the role of the endowment in the lives of Muslims is enough to achieve the purposes of Sharia and enhance health, security and educational care, and how it contributed to the islamic nation’s civilization in the previous centuries.
