The present article is concerned with the problems of educational assessment and school support fever.
It aims to achieve two goals, the first of which is to monitor the reality of perceptions and actual practices of these educational processes among male and female primary school teachers at Ibn Al-Arif Primary School in Bouskoura as an example, and the second is to highlight the expectations and present proposals for professional advancement in evaluation and support in theory and practice.
To achieve this, a qualitative analytical approach has been mobilized based, on the one hand, on the theoretical frameworks that dealt with educational evaluation and school support in terms of issues of identity, concept, types and objectives, as they are necessary for the advancement of the public school and the continuous educational renewal and improvement of the existing situation, on the basis of accountability based on standards And references and assessment mechanisms, to be able to take appropriate decisions, as well as based on field research data conducted with 15 professors through interviews on the other hand.
Its analysis made it possible to reach the presence of structural imbalances in perceptions and practices, in the sense that there are important differences between theorizing and action, and the delusion of expectations made it possible to put forward proposals to develop teachers’ professional practice regarding assessment and support in the school.
