Abstract EN

This study aimed to analyze and study the role of strategic management represented in its dimensions (internal and external environment, strategy formulation, strategy implementation, strategic control) in raising the performance efficiency of Sudanese commercial banks.To achieve the aim of the study, the researcher followed the descriptive analytical approach based on collecting, analyzing and interpreting data and information and drawing conclusions from it, through the use of the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) program, which processes the data of the field study statistically through a number of statistical methods, where the questionnaire was used As a means of collecting primary data on the research problem.The questionnaire was distributed to all members of the research community, which consists of general managers and their deputies, directors of specialized departments and managers of the main branches,they are distributed among the research sample consisting of (6) commercial banks, where their number reached (103) individuals occupying leadership and administrative positions at the level of senior and middle management, and they were targeted by % 100 through a comprehensive inventory.The research reached several results, the most important of which was that the application and practice of strategic management in Sudanese commercial banks in a scientific and clear manner led to raising the performance efficiency, and that interest in analyzing and monitoring the external and internal environment led to improving the efficiency of performance in Sudanese commercial banks, and that the good formulation and implementation of Sudanese commercial bank strategies in a manner Effective led to raising and developing the efficiency of performance.
