Abstract EN

The study aims to highlight the intellectual and cultural role played by clubs and councils related to the field of thought, culture and literature.

The purpose was to promote and advance the civilizations of nations and peoples where the clubs of oratory and poetry councils expressed intellectual mobility and cultural interaction.

Thus, human civilizations in general and Islamic civilizations in particular were keen to preserve its traditions and continuity.

The study also seeks to highlight some of the cultural forums that Morocco has witnessed in the modern era as an intellectual extension and cultural and literary tradition that has found its roots in previous intellectual civilizations.

More specifically, the study aims to introduce the most famous intellectual and literary club known in the history of the thought of Morocco during the era of protection (1956-1912) and the dawn of independence as well as highlighting its role in enriching the Moroccan cultural movement related to the club of the writer Abdullah bin Abbas al-Jarari (1983-1905).
