This research is a descriptive study that is concerned with identifying the sections of Arabic nouns beginning with the extra yaa according to their weights and types in terms of inertia and derivation, and showing the social and linguistic factors that have resulted in a change in the rate of their use.

Talking about something other than what was happening in pre-Islamic poetry and other things, and the rigid names of the flags and the names of the genera account for the largest share of them, and the change in ways of life as a result of development and urbanization and the change of human tastes over time had a great impact on the cessation of the use of part of the names starting with the extra yaa, and the predominance of Foreign scientific terms are the heritage of humanity.
