The planning and the preparations of the buildings in ancient Egypt

In Ancient Egypt many things had to be done before the workers start building any construction.

Plans or models of the proposed building had to be submitted to the king himself or by deputy, put the limits of the building, conducting the foundation ceremonies, and made offering to the god to whom the building was dedicated.

Also, the architect, after preparing the plans, had to organize a constant and sufficient supply of stone from the quarries, and after the preliminary formalities were over accurately set out the lines of the proposed walls.
