The research undertakes to explain the role that the purposes of Shariah in protecting society and maintaining its stability, through its concern, preservation, and protection for the interests of both religion and this world, and that these interests are based on preserving the five things: self, religion, honor, mind, and money.

The researcher reviewed several models from the prophetic biography of the Prophet to demonstrate the possibility of achieving social stability, while clarifying the role played by the purposes of Shariah in achieving that stability through the models presented.
