The study aimed to identify the factors affecting job satisfaction for workers in government apparatus units in the Sultanate of Oman, and the effect of the gender variable on the factors affecting job satisfaction The researchers used the descriptive survey method, and the questionnaire was a tool for the study, and it was applied to a simple random sample of (670) male and female employees (13%) of the study population, After collecting the data and information, it was statistically processed using the (spss) program.

The study reached several results,the most important of which are the following: The factors affecting the job satisfaction of the employees of the government apparatus units in the Sultanate of Oman were in order (leadership style, communication and communication, work environment and culture, incentives).

(Leadership style,incentives, communication and communication) in favor of females, while there are no differences in the work environment and culture axis The study recommends the necessity of issuing the bylaws and regulations for the human resources system so that the method of motivation and honor is clear for each employee.
