The study aimed to know the effect of using the simulation strategy in developing the written expression skills of the eighth grade students of the basic education stage in the Capital Municipality, based on the two approaches (descriptive and quasi- experimental), and to achieve the goal of the study, an educational unit designed according to the simulation strategy and an achievement test was prepared and presented to The arbitrators in the Arabic language curricula and teaching methods to judge their sincerity.

The study sample consisted of (60) male eighth grade students, who were equally divided into two groups: experimental and control, who were chosen randomly The study aimed to know the effect of using the simulation strategy in developing the written expression skills of the eighth grade students of the basic education stage in the Capital Municipality, based on the two approaches (descriptive and quasi- experimental), and to achieve the goal of the study, an educational unit designed according to the simulation strategy and an achievement test was prepared and presented to The arbitrators in the Arabic language curricula and teaching methods to judge their sincerity.

The study sample consisted of (60) male eighth grade students, who were equally divided into two groups: experimental and control, who were chosen randomly from my school (Al-Miqdad bin Amr, and Al-Qami’a) the two government agencies that were deliberately chosen to represent the study sample, and the results of the study showed that there was a significant statistical difference at the significance level (0.05) between the mean scores of the two groups (experimental and control) in the post application to test written expression skills at the level of related and separate skills.
