Abstract EN

Many teachers rely on school assignments as it is a tool to improve students' understanding of the subject and stabilize its understanding, and it helps them in continuous evaluation and identification of strengths and weaknesses, and it also contributes to training students to assume responsibility and independence, and develop the partnership between the family and the school.

The present study aimed to identify students 'attitudes towards school assignments in public and private schools for grades (tenth and eleventh) in the Governorate of Muscat, and to identify the differences in students' attitudes towards school assignments in public and private schools in the governorate of Muscat according to the school type variables (government / private) and gender.

Social (male / female), and to achieve Study objectives and after reviewing the previous studies, a tool was prepared to measure students 'attitudes towards school assignments.

The tool included three areas, namely (the trend towards the value of duties, the trend towards the role of the family, the trend towards the role of the teacher) and the study sample consisted of (200) students from the tenth and eleventh grades Ten, after applying the tool, a number of results will be reached, and in light of the results of the study, the study will come out with a number of recommendations and proposals.
