The alarming increase in motor disabilities has led us to consider the extent to which mothers suffer from life stress, especially as the role of the father remains withdrawn in the case of the birth of a disabled child, and that the distribution of roles within the family is unfair and unbalanced in most cases, so the mother doubles the burdens that she previously performed, as if the machine never breaks down, hence this great mother will inevitably resort to her own strategies to cope with the pressures.

Thus, the present study aimed to examine the most important coping strategies used by the mothers of the physically handicapped children in order to face the different psychological pressures that surround them through a clinical approach and a case study.
