Abstract EN
As the coronavirus continues to spread, the attention of hospitals has turned to identify coronavirus infections in patients who are admitted with respiratory problems.
For these patients, there is a high chance of missing another differential diagnosis.
Here, we describe three cases of Pneumocystis jiroveci pneumonia (PJP) and one case of Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB) HIV- associated lung infections that were initially managed as COVID-19 cases, and in whom HIV was not primarily diagnosed.
