English Abstract

Drugs are a social scourge, as they are a deadly substance that destroys the minds of humanity, especially young people, and destroys and dismantles the pillars of society.

It is one of the contemporary problems that societies suffer from, and which is considered the commodity of death because it causes many health, psychological, social, economic and even political problems, and it is one of the new problems that emerged after the invasion of Iraq in 2003 In a large and rapidly spreading due to the changes that the Iraqi society has witnessed, such as the security situation, unemployment, ignorance, the large number of widows and orphans, and others.

Therefore, we address this important and dangerous problem from several chapters and define the goal that is to be achieved, knowing the nature and types of drugs, causes, addiction, problems and treatments from a number of recommendations and solutions to address the problem or on At least reduce its devastating effects.
