The research aims to identify the future thinking among the students of the Department of Life Sciences, as well as knowing the significance of the differences in the future thinking among the students of the Departments of Life Sciences according to the variables of gender (male - female), college (science - education) and stage (second - fourth), and in order to verify the Therefore, the researcher built a scale of future thinking, and the researcher adopted Torrens theory of future thinking, and the research was determined by the students of the Department of Life Sciences of the University of Al-Qadisiyah, the College of Education and the College of Science for the academic year 2021/2022, and to achieve the objectives of the research.
They were chosen at random.
The research reached the following results 1-Students of life sciences departments possess a high level of futuristic thinking.
2-There are no statistically significant differences in future thinking among students of life sciences departments according to the variables (sex, college, stage) A number of recommendations were reached based on the results that were reached, including the use of educational strategies, especially in future thinking, in order to train university students to use it in various areas of life.
