Abstract EN
The research aims to know the effectiveness of the movement discussions strategy in the achievement of primary fifth grade female students and deep understanding in science subject.
To achieve this, the two null hypotheses were formulated.
The researcher adopted the experimental design for two equal groups (experimental group and control group), according to this design, the researcher chose (Al-Nakhil Primary School for Girls), which is one of the government day schools affiliated to the General Directorate of Dhi Qar Education / Shatrah Education Department for the academic year of 2021-2022 which was selected randomly and contained two classes (A, B), and this choice was made by lottery.
Class (A) is the experimental group, which included 30 female students who studied by the strategy of movement discussions, and class (B) is the control group, which included 30 female students who studied by the traditional method.Equivalence was conducted for the two groups in the variabl The researcher defined the material in four chapters from the science book for the fifth grade of primary schoo.
As for the first and second chapters, it has been deleted from the Iraqi Ministry of Education.
The behavioral objectives of these chapters have been formulated, as their number reached 122.
The researcher also prepared 24 teaching plans for the experimental group and 12 teaching plans for the control group.
With regard to the two research tools, an achievement test consisting of 29 items was prepared by the researcher The experiment was applied in the first semester of the academic year 2021-2022, and continued for three months with four lessons per week for each group; at the end of the experiment, the two research tools were applied to the two groups (experimental and control groups).
The results showed the superiority of the experimental group students who studied with the movement discussions strategy over the students of the control group who studied in the usual or normal way.
In light of that, the researcher came up with a set of conclusions, recommendations and suggestions
