The aim of the research is to identify the level of meta-emotional skills (meta- emotional) among university students.

And also to identify the level of skills beyond emotion (meta-emotional) among university students according to the variables of gender (male, female) and specialization (scientific, human).

The researchers built a tool to measure meta-emotional skills through the question posed about how to respond in emotional situations and the individual's ability to emotionally control the praise and after the emotional situation.

The test for the meta- emotional scale (meta-emotional) was (0.85), and the research sample amounted to (400) male and female students who were randomly selected from some humanities and scientific colleges and for the first stage, with (200) male and female students from the College of Engineering, and (200) male and female students from the College of Engineering.

Basic Education.

The researchers used a measure of meta-emotional skills (meta-emotional) built by the researchers themselves, which consisted of (41) and five alternatives.

The data were treated statistically using the Statistical Analysis Portfolio for the Humanities (SPSS).

The results showed the following: 1.

It was found that the calculated t-value is less than the tabular t-value and in favor of the arithmetic mean of the sample scores, and through the above result we note that there is a statistically significant difference between the hypothetical mean and the arithmetic mean and in favor of the hypothetical mean, that is, the students of Mosul University have a lower emotional metamorphosis less than the theoretical average .

It was found that it is not significant, that is, there are no differences between the scientific and humanitarian disciplines, and in the gender of males and females, in the skills of meta-emotional (meta-emotional) among university students.

The researchers later reached a set of recommendations and suggestions.
