Abstract EN

The research aims to achieve the following: 1- Building a training program according to the theory of the cognitive load for biology teachers for the fifth grade biology.

2- Knowing the impact of the training program in Information processing Styles for the fifth grade biology students.

In order to achieve the aims of the research, the training program was built according to the theory of the cognitive load and applied to the experimental group (sample of the teachers) starting from (24/10/2021) until (4/11/2021).

the researchers adopted apartially controlled experimental design for the experimental and control groups, with the pre and post-test of information processing styles scale for the fifth grade biology students.

the results of the research showed the following: the students of the experimental group outperformed the students of the teachers of the control group in the styles of in-depth and extended processing, and the students of the control group outperformed the students of the teachers of the experimental group in the style of retaining the facts, in addition to the absence of statistically significant differences between the two experimental groups.
