The current research aimed at a training program for science teachers of the second intermediate grade on strategies for mnemonics and knowing the effect of the training program on the achievement of students whose teachers trained in the program.
The training program included nine training modules: mnemonics strategies, M.U.R.D.E.R.
strategy, Pdeode strategy, place-substitution strategy (location), mental visualization, summarization strategy, self-questioning strategy, conceptual map strategy, and SNIPS strategy.
The researchers also built the achievement test, which consisted of 38 paragraphs, and its paragraphs varied between objective and essay, and the researchers conducted specifications of validity and reliability of the test.
The results showed the effectiveness of the training program in raising the students' achievement after their teachers were trained during the training program.
The study also presented a number of recommendations and suggestions.
