Mohamed Agoujim Professor of Hadith and its Sciences, The Polydisciplinary Faculty of Errachidia, University of Moulay Ismail, Kingdom of Morocco The lost books that are of great value continue to occupy the minds of scholars and researchers and their interest, hoping that they may find them, or some of their parts or papers.

They also seek knowledge about them and find out what they include through the books related to them and those that took from them before their loss.

The famous interpretation of Baqi ibn Mukhlid is one of these lost books, which preoccupy scholars and researchers and their interest.These books invite them to invest more efforts to find them, and to find out what can provide an introduction to it or some of its aspects.

In view of the great scientific value of the book, which scholars have frequently praised, and while searching for a single study on it, and not finding it, I determined to conduct this study in which I aim at - Investigating news concerned with the process of searching for the book, and what was said as faras the places where it is likely to be found are concerned - Collecting, studying, analyzing and synthesizing what was said about the book.

- Submitting a descriptive study of the book.

Three methods were employed in the completion of this study: - The descriptive method: by providing a descriptive study of the book.

- The inductive methods: by tracking and collecting what was said about the book, past and present.

- The deductive analytical methods: through studying what has been said about the book, analyzing it, and deriving its results.

A number of results were drawn from the study, the most important of which are: - The Book of Tafsir by Baqi ibn Mukhlid, one of the mothers of the interpretation books, which scholars have praised and used in their classifications.

- The general method of the book is interpretation by narration, with investigation and avoiding Israelis.

This pushes by the imams of knowledge to praise the book.

- The book was in circulation among scholars during the author’s life, and after that to the ninth century AH, at the time of Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar (d.

852 AH), as Iestimated.

- What has been said about the places where the book might be found remain possibilities that require more effortsto be verified.
