Abstract EN

This research deals with a manuscript of the most important manuscripts in the heritage of the Algerian desert, due to several considerations.

As it is an encyclopedic manuscript because the Sheikh addressed a collection of religious, linguistic, experimental, and accurate arts.

As well as the manuscript is a rare and precious because its author wrote it in his handwriting.

This prompted me to this research.

One of the results in this research is to show the peak reached by the desert scientific, linguistic and literary effort, which limits us to a group of arts and sciences and restricts their rules to us through the millennial arts that its poet called “the Adornment of Boys”.

This research will try to show us the most important arts that our scholars have taken care of, and the way to control and preserve them.

These arts that were dealt with in this precious manuscript are: interpretation, hadith, origins of jurisprudence, mysticism, grammar, calligraphy, creativity, medicine, anatomy, arithmetic, and astrology.
