Abstract EN

This study discusses the use of internet in the university libraries, in which a sample of students from the Law and Political Sciences Faculty at the University of Tebessa were questioned in order to understand the topic of the research paper by an in-depth description of concepts related to scientific research, Internet and the its benefits on students.

Our research paper also highlights the contribution of the Internet in facilitating the students' mission in accessing and collecting the finest information and data in a quick way.

An appropriate descriptive approach which relies on a questionnaire and an interview of the selected sample was used.

Such an approach was approved in previous studies.

We also focused on how the Internet became an imperative necessity, for both student and university libraries, due to its speed, flexibility, and its interaction in preserving or recovering information and verifying its credibility.

All of this may be accomplished through the effective use of the Internet and the transition to digital libraries under the supervision of an informatics professional
