The present article undertakes to examine the concept of Public Policy Governance (PPG).

This concept has not been defined clearly and precisely.

Actually, the provided definitions of public policy governance seem irrelevant, superficial, and, to some extent, inaccurate and ambiguous.

Lacking a clear and precise definition is one of the major reasons why the public policies of many developed countries have maintained a continuous and enthusiastic interest in "Governance" as a pillar of the policy-making process.

With this need in mind, efforts are being made to investigate the PPG concept's tools, characteristics, and principles.

Finally, it would also be useful to explore the conceptual challenges to public policy governance in underdeveloped countries as well as their mechanisms to effectively meet the intended public policy goals (e.
