This article aims to study the efficacy of international dispute resolution methods in resolving the conflict that led to the blockade of Qatar in 2017 by Saudi Arabia, the Emirates, Bahrain and Egypt, which led to the severing of diplomatic relations with them and the imposition of economic sanctions in addition to the application of the land, sea and air blockade, This led to tension in international relations as a whole and a material and moral loss for both sides.

It was concluded that the parties' adoption of Kuwaiti negotiations and mediation, in addition to moving towards international arbitration and justice, eventually led to an end to the crisis in early 2021, while avoiding resorting to military solutions.
