The study aims to identify the contribution of the performance evaluation process in enhancing the application of the quality assurance of higher education at Hassiba ben Bouali University in Chlef, considering that quality is a fact that is a fundamental and important thing in higher education institutions, if it is adopted and properly applied, as quality is an exercise and not It is imperative to practice that it be based on specific standards, regulations and rules set by experts in all journals in the field of education, evaluation, scientific research, and community service.

These standards, rules and regulations that regulate quality work at the university are emanated from accredited bodies and national and international centers, specific and clear.

For all the parties involved in the application process as well as the evaluation, and a general result was reached represented by the efforts made by Hassiba Ben Bouali University in Chlef in general and by the members of the Quality Assurance Cell for the application of national reference standards for quality assurance, and this was evident by focusing on the basic fields such as the field of training and scientific research As well as the field of university life.
