Abstract EN

The objective of the research paper is to implement the legal framework that includes the legal protection established for the electronic consumer in the Algerian legislation, reviewing the most important legal texts attached to the right to protection, given that the idea of consumer electronics emerged in connection with electronic transactions.

This study concluded that the law (09-03) relating to the protection of consumers and the repression of fraud is rightly considered as the first cornerstone in the context of the preservation and protection of the rights of electronic consumers.

However, it is considered insufficient with regard to the rapid development of the electronic transactions sector in Algeria, which requires the Algerian legislator to support this development through the legislation enacted in order to regulate this type of transaction.
