This paper discusses the Nigerian government's approach to the fight against the Boko Haram movement, highlighting the circumstances of its establishment, the evolution of its modes of action, and the scope of its action from the local to the national, and then, to the regional space of the West African region.

It also discusses the most important methods adopted by the Nigerian government, in addition to outlining the obstacles that have contributed to limiting the achievements of the government's efforts.
