It is difficult to address the issue of pagan religion in Numidia in light of the scarcity of ancient sources that, although mentioned above, canceled the local origin, which prompts us to adopt the results of archaeological research mainly, and perhaps one of the most important deities that have been much controversy about and about their origin is the idol Baal Hamon.

in this research paper, we try to present opinions about its origins, show the local origin, and emphasize the continuity of this idol after the roman occupation under the romanization policy.
