Abstract EN

This research thoroughly investigated what is signified by the term (not strong) aeeording to Imam Ahmad Bin Uanbal.

The two researchers provided a eoneise biography of Ibin Hanbal besides the idiomatie meaning of the eoneerned term.

Then they condueted an application study of twenty- nine narratorsjudged by Bin Hanbal as not strong in addition to comparing hisjudgments with those of other validators and invalidators.

The researches ended up %vith the narrator's biography judging him drawing on the other validatore' and invalidators' judgments.

At the end of the study، the two researchers provided tables of narrators' statuses and illustrated the Imam’s meaning of the (،٢١١١.

One of the most important results of this research was that Imam Ahmad used the term "not strong" to mean weak but can be strengthened if the weak narrator is supported by other narrations and other methods.

He agreed with other critics to weaken twenty -ه'ااا narrators of the twenty- nine narrators included in the current study.

The recommendation was to study the term "not strong" by Imam Ahmad Bin Hanbal as a practical critical study on the six major Hadith books.
