Abstract EN

The study sought to reveal the reality of financial sustainability in the third sector organizations in Hadhramaut Coast, and to determine its dimensions and its achievement requirements.

In addition, it sought to identify the legislative and regulatory obstacles that prevent its application in the organizations.

The study relied on the descriptive analytical method, where information was collected from secondary sources such as previous studies, books, etc., in addition to its reliance on the questionnaire as a main tool for collecting primary data.

This data was also analyzed and processed using SPSS Program and some other statistical methods.

A random sample of 97 organizations was identified for the study, with 187 individual samples, which constituted 30% of the total organizations authorized to operate in Hadhramaut Coast.

The choice of this percentage is due to a number of difficulties that the researchers faced, most notably the lack of accuracy in the data given to them by the Social Affairs Office.

The study reached a set of results, the most important of which are: The third sector organizations operating in Hadhramaut governorate face problems in diversifying their sources of income.

These organizations have regulatory obstacles that prevent their implementation of financial sustainability.

The study presented many recommendations to various parties, including recommendations for the Senior Management, recommendations for those interested, and recommendations for the future studies.

The most prominent of these recommendations were: Working on adopting mechanisms to achieve self-sufficiency in the third sector organizations by focusing on projects that generate self-income and contribute to providing self-sufficiency opportunities for the organization, thus ensuring the decline of its dependence on external funding, and the need to address the shortcomings in the organizational aspects by adopting a set of mechanisms, most notably building advanced operational plans, programs and projects necessary to achieve financial sustainability, and attracting cadres specialized in the development of financial resources.
