The Samanid State is an Islamic, Persian, Oriental State (261-389 AH/ 874-999AD), which controlled vast areas of the Islamic Orient, most notably in Khurasan, Transoxania and Khwarizm where its influence emerged clearly, It included a combination of customs and human races, most notably Turks, Persians, and Ar, Its rule was characterized by justice and reforms.

The Samanid state devoted special attention to science and scientists, Under its controll, many doctors who have the greatest advantage over all humanity had emerged, The Aim of this article is presenting the health situation in this state, the most prominent diseases and epidemics that have spread in the regions, methods of treating and confronting them, in addition to their effects on the population.
