Abstract EN

This study aims to learn how Algerian satellite channels address social issues of public affairs in Algeria by analysing the content of the weekly social program "ahki hkaytek", and the study was conducted on a sample of the program's numbers estimated at 8 numbers based on the descriptive approach and the method of content analysis and the theory of analysis of the media framework, the study reached a number of results, the most important of which are: Algerian private satellite channels attach great importance to social programmes by allocating enough time to them, through the results of the analytical study of the ahki hkaytek programme, which presented the various social issues that exist in Algerian society and even the silent issues that exist in the womb of Algerian society in order to spread social awareness.
