this articale aims to identify the theoretical framework of the study and to identify the most important methods of islamic banks in attracting savings, and assessing the role of Algerian islamic banks in attracting savings, especially since islamic banks are current topics and potential solutions for reducing the size of informal markets in algeria, in a problematic light: How to assess the role of algerian islamic banks in attracting savings, based on the descriptive analytical approach, the study(2013-2016) found that islamic banks were able to attract saving through bank deposits of all kinds, their role in this has been assessed through a number of indicators, most of wich show that islamic banks are able to attract savings, even thought they have little activity.
