Abstract EN

The current study aimed to identify the level of mental health among a sample of school and vocational guidance and counseling in the educational institutions belonging to the education sector in the Wilaya of Ain Defla, The researchers used the descriptive approach to achieve the objectives of the study.

The study sample which was randomly chosen from the counselors in the middle and secondary education level, consisted of ( 90) males and females.

And in order to collect data, the researchers used the mental health scale developed by Abu Hain (1992), The study resulted in the following results: There was an average level of mental health among the sample.

In addition to that, there were no statistically significant differences in the level of mental health as a function of gender.

The study also revealed that there was no mean differences in mental health as a function of experience or work area.
