The study aimed to identify the types of electronic payment methods, and to identify the reality of the adoption of electronic payment methods in the Algerian foreign bank and the Chlef agency, by following the descriptive analytical approach.

the study reached several results, the most important of which are: payment methods in the Algerian foreign bank-agent Chlef-are limited to dealing with bank cards only, while dealing with electronic money and encrypted currencies such as Blockchain, Bitcoin, and electronic wallets are not available, and therefore Algerian banks are still late in adopting payment methods modern compared to Arab and western countries, and this is due to a set of challenges, including the weak technological infrastructure in Algeria, the risks of dealing with such currencies, as well as the lack of legislative and strategic frameworks from the government aimed at dealing with digital and encrypted currencies.
