Abstract EN

This research focuses on the language context in the main Arabic dictionary AL-Hamza chapter; this is to ensure the importance of the language context in deciding the meaning of the dictionary entries by following the descriptive analytic method.

The research reached the conclusion that there is a difference in using the proofs according to its type in the main Arabic dictionary as the use of the Quranic style overweighed all the others in explaining the entries and meanings, Also, the language context and proofs in the dictionary aim to deepening the meaning and explaining it through its usage in a vivid context derived from the main sources of the language and this is considered as link between the stem and its usage.
