This study explores a significant problematic issue related to national identity’s dimensions of Algeria.

accordingly, Ahmed Taoufik el Madani’s book of “Algeria” is considered a key source for studying public life in Algeria.

in his book, the Algerian history, and reality from an Algerian, Arab, and Islamic perspective was presented, and where Islamic religion, Arabic social, ethical, and cultural values were advocated.

the primary aim of the current study is to identify aspects of the authentic national identity of the Algerian nation through the book of Algeria.

in this book, el Madani was able to write for an authentic national history, reflecting the ancient Algerians and their civilization historically.

besides, this book drew the mirror image of Algeria, and sent messages that affirm the national identity for readers.
