The phenomenon of juvenile delinquency has occupied the attention of researchers who have tried to explain it psychologically and socially to give an integrative view of this explanation.

through a case study of a 16-year-old delinquent adolescent, we applied the personality disorders diagnostic scale and the family cognition scale.

we concluded that the juvenile delinquent suffers from a psychological disorder represented by the interpersonal disorder.

the family perception scale also revealed that this juvenile lives in a turbulent family atmosphere characterized by the imbalance of the parental role, in addition to the existence of family conflict, it is known as non-functional families.
