The aesthetic consciousness of the importance of experimentation enabled the Iraqi narrator to present to the end of the seventies of the twentieth century a narrative product that is evidence of a prosperous era, which had its repercussions on the writers of the story and the novel in the later stages, especially the experimenters in history.

Among them is the storyteller Jihad Majeed, who violated the usual realistic line of many storytellers, not because he was not satisfied with this line, but rather it is the narrative queen and critical awareness that impose on him the adoption of an experimental line, in which he does not occupy himself with the form except for necessities required by the essence, and presents the essence only because the form is capable of ing it From its impurities and presenting it symbolically, it elevates it aesthetically and at the same time approaches it realistically to be more closely related to the concerns of the individual and the group and in line with their desires.

This is what we will discuss in detail through two axes, the first is the third wave of experimentation and the distinctiveness of its writers, and the second is the postmodernity of history and the novel.
