Awareness assessment of preserving a healthy environment and the role of health education in promoting it among Kuwait University Students

This study aims to assess awareness of preserving a healthy environment and the role of health education in its promotion among Kuwait University students.

A survey questionnaire was distributed randomly to a sample of 300 students.

It consisted of 26 statements; covering two domains: assessing awareness of preserving a healthy environment, and the role of health education in promoting it among Kuwait University students.

Descriptive and qualitative statistics were used to analyze the data.

Computer data entry and analysis were done by using SPSS.

For data analysis, t- test and One Way ANOVA test were used.

Results of the study revealed a general lack of awareness among college students about preserving a healthy environment.

Statistical analyses showed significant differences in some domains in relation to some variables in the study.
