Abstract EN

The current study dealt with subject of visual memory among children with hearing disabilities, and normal children, and the study aimed to reveal the diffirences between the two groups in visual memory, and in its dimensions (visual spatial memory, visual memory of numbers/shapes).

To achieve the objectives of this study, the comparative descriptive approach was adopted, where the application of visual memory test(non-verbal) designed by ibrahim cheikh matar (2016) on sample of (26) children who where choosen intentionaly, (13) children with hearing impairments, schooled in the center for the hearing impaired people (ouargla), and (13) normal children who they study at the primary and CEM levels (ouargla).

The study showed that there is a diffirence in visual memory between hearing impaired children, and normal children, and there is also a diffirence between the two groups in visual spatial memory, and visual memory (shapes/ numbers).
