Abstract EN
This research focuses on the improvement of Tunisian cultural heritage using digital art, namely augmented reality technologies and 3D computer graphics.
Indeed, 3D imaging and artificial intelligence are the most important topics among new technologies, especially in the field of historical and cultural preservation.
This article target on the motivation of young UI / UX designers of the Higher Institute of Computer Science and Multimedia in Sfax to create new projects (3D Augmented Reality apps) during the academic year 2020-2021.
The aim of this paper is to review the issue of digital art at the service of history and the value of cultural heritage.
Indeed, “Tafroura AR“ is an innovative AR application designed with game engine (Unity 3D; Vuforia) and 3D software (3 Ds Max).
