Abstract EN

This study aimed to shed light on the reality of fintechs in Saudi Arabia during the period (2018-2021), depending on the descriptive approach with analytic method, it concluded a number of results, the most important of which are: The government has contributed with initiatives supporting fintechs under the supervision of the Central Bank, the Capital Market Authority and the Saudi Fintech, which was positively reflected on the growth of these companies during the studied period and the emergence of new areas in light of the dominance of payments and the disbursement of commissions.

Despite the achievements, fintechs still face several challenges, most notably compliance with laws and regulations, recruitment of talents and competencies and obtaining funding, which requires the need to exploit the available opportunities to overcome them
